The Lake Whatcom watershed is located in Whatcom County in the northwest corner of Washington State. The watershed is not just a source of drinking water for county residents.  This watershed provides a place to live for a variety of animals, fish and humans alike.  It has also played an important role in the community's history of logging, mining, and lumber mills.

In this section, you can learn about the lake and watershed, water quality and monitoring, water supply and treatment, fish and wildlife, and geology.
