Additional Lake Whatcom Joint Councils Meeting Scheduled for June 4, 2025

This is the second part of the legislative meeting of the Lake Whatcom Management Program that took place in April 2025. The meeting will include representatives from the Bellingham City Council, the Whatcom County Council, and the Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District Board of Commissioners, who will discuss Lake Whatcom Management Program activities to reduce phosphorus and other threats to Lake Whatcom, as well as the results of the Lake Whatcom Monitoring Project Report from the Institute for Watershed Studies at Western Washington University.

Councilmembers and Commissioners will participate in this meeting in-person at the Pacific Street Operations Center, 2221 Pacific Street, Bellingham, (entrance off Carolina Street) or remotely through the Zoom platform. Community members may attend the meeting in person or watch remotely with this link. Detailed information can be found five days prior to the meeting at cob.org/meetings. Please note, as this is a continuation of the previous April 2 JCC meeting where public comment was provided, there will not be public comment at this meeting.

The meeting will take place at the Pacific Street Operations Center, 2221 Pacific Street, Bellingham (entrance off Carolina Street). Please note that there is construction in the area so allow extra time to find parking. Bike racks are located in front of the Pacific Street Operations Center.
