Lake Whatcom Management Program partners with Whatcom County Health Department (WCHD) to facilitate the Adopt-a-Road program. This program supports groups and individuals to “adopt” a particular area, like a road or beach, to keep clean. You can also sign up for one-time group clean up events. 

Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps to sign up: 

1. Visit the WCHD Adopt-a-Road website to learn more about the program and read the information packet

2. Sign the WCHD Adopt-a-Road liability form. The program coordinator will follow-up with you to provide more information once they receive your form.

3. Make sure you’re signed up for our monthly e-news to receive volunteer reminders! It’s important to report your hours after every cleanup, or at least monthly. Reporting hours enables the Whatcom County Health Department to acquire funding for the program.
